the Foreign Office that on his
retirement from the Consular Service
Mr. Russell Brown has been awarded
an additional allowance which falls
short by £149:10: Od of the amounts
for which he would have been eligible
had the whole of his service been
under that Department. In view of
the decision given in the Treasury
letter of the 16th of February, 1924,
